Come to Code for America's offices this Thursday 19th April to meet the team behind the US Government's only startup: the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB)*.

CFPB has set a high bar for bringing Silicon Valley-style development and design into D.C., and they're recruiting at least 20-30 developers, designers, and data scientists to do even more. @merici and @victorzapanta will be there to fill you in.

Stop by CfA to have a drink, a slice of pizza, and a good conversation with some interesting people doing important work.

*this isn't an official/formal event or anything like that - just an opportunity for peeps who like open gov, open data, open source tech, and getting stuff done to get together and chat.
